AFTER a year marked by dedication and collaboration with the community, the members of the Kariega South African Police Service (SAPS) received a heartfelt Christmas message from their Station Commander, Brigadier Andr\u00e9 van Niekerk Swart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a spirit of reflection and gratitude, Brigadier Swart acknowledged the persevering efforts of the officers and their commitment to ensuring a safer community. This message comes at a time when many are preparing to celebrate the holiday season, a period traditionally associated with family and festivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warrant Officer Fanie Hough officially retired from the South African Police Service after 41 years of loyal service. His departure marked the end of an era and a time to reflect on the remarkable legacy he will leave behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brigadier Swart said, \u201cThroughout his 41 years with SAPS, Warrant Officer Hough has been an integral part of the team, known for his excellent work abilities and expertise. From the beginning until his retirement, his accomplishments and leadership roles have been an asset to SAPS, and his journey has been one of growth, commitment, and success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
