This was due to a lack of judges being allocated to criminal court roles in the Gqeberha High Court this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terblanche is accused of conspiring to murder his wife, Vicki Terblanche, in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As previously reported by the Express, Vicki&#8217;s murder happened on 18 October 2021, where she was found buried in a shallow grave in Greenbushes, Gqeberha, after being given an overdose of drugs and suffocated. Terblanche&#8217;s co-accused has been [sentence incomplete].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, Vicki&#8217;s boyfriend at the time of the murder, Reinhardt Leach, was&nbsp;sentenced&nbsp;to an effective 25&nbsp;years&#8217;&nbsp;imprisonment after he&nbsp;pleaded&nbsp;guilty to multiple charges related&nbsp;to his involvement&nbsp;in&nbsp;Vicki&#8217;s&nbsp;murder. He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, defeating the ends of justice, and possession of drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding&nbsp;Terblanche&#8217;s&nbsp;matter, speaking to the Express,&nbsp;Terblanche&#8217;s&nbsp;legal representative, Alwyn Griebenow, stated that there has been an application placed before the state requesting that some of Terblanche&#8217;s bail conditions&nbsp;be&nbsp;relaxed.&nbsp;He is currently on R1 million bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Griebenow added
