A Bonteheuwel man was shot and killed on the foot bridge between Heideveld and Bonteheuwel this morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manenberg police spokesperson, Captain Ian Bennett, says they were called to the scene at 06:00 on 17 February where the body of a 40-year-old man was found with a bullet wound in his head. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt is alleged that he had an argument with members of a gang in the Bonteheuwel area. They chased him towards the foot bridge firing shots at him. The man managed to walk across the bridge into the Heideveld area leaving a blood trail showing the distance he walked before he collapsed.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
