A body is being extracted from Tyger Waterfront in Tygervalley. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bellville police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Henri\u00ebtta van Niekerk, confirms police were called to the scene today (18 May). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She says someone spotted the body and reported it and according to CCTV footage a man was seen sitting on the railing at about 08:00. He then allegedly jumped. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At this stage, she says, police are investigating the circumstances around the incident and the man\u2019s identity is not known. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
