Two Rastafarian men were arrested in Durbanville on Monday (22 May) for stealing valuable bulbous plants from a local farm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shortly after 16:00, TygerBurger <\/em>was called to Vissershok Road where the farm owner had kept the men until Durbanville police arrived. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The two men were arrested and taken to the station later in the afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Theo Fisher, confirmed the arrest and said the men are currently in custody at the Durbanville Police Station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He confirms that the men were caught by a farm owner and says the plants stolen are endangered species. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This arrest follows an earlier incident where seven Rastafarians were arrested for stealing the rare plants valued at R65 000 in Durbanville. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Thieves caught by farm
