A 32-year-old woman sustained critical injuries when her vehicle crashed into a tree along the N1 inbound near the Plattekloof turn off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to ER24 spomesperon Werner Vermaak the accidebt happened at approximately 17:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cParamedics from ER24\u2019s Critical Care Retrieval Services came across the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUpon investigation, they found the woman trapped inside the vehicle.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vermaak says rescue tools were used to free her from the wreckage. Paramedics from Metro Rescue and Life Healthcare also attended the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOnce freed, she was placed on life support and rushed to a nearby hospital for further care,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
