Police arrested a 23-year-old man for possession of an unlicensed
\nfirearm in Bonteheuwel on Wednesday (16 August).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bishop Lavis police spokesperson, Constable Samantha Adonis,
\nsaid the arrest happened around 20:45 while police were doing patrols in the
\ngang shooting hotspots in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the attempt to prevent any shootings from occurring, the
\nmembers caught a man in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She says the arrested man is a member of the Funky gang in
\nthe area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
