Boston Centre occupants evicted"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The infamous Boston Centre in Bellville was cleared of all occupants on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre close to Voortrekker Road has been dubbed the \u201cbiggest problem building in Bellville\u201d and is regularly in the news for illegal activities on the premises and general decay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is estimated that around 700 people lived in the 54 flats in the building illegally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div contenteditable=\"false\" data-embed24=\"YouTube\" data-pos=\"middle\" id=\"ef32f988\"><iframe allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NaHQQBWEeM0\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div contenteditable=\"false\" data-embed24=\"YouTube\" data-pos=\"middle\" id=\"7ff3258e\"><iframe allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rdn9o0fwgZk\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>An eviction notice was served on the owners and occupants two weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday morning the so-called \u2018red ants\u2019 marched into the building and forcibly removed all furniture and belongings and dumped it on the sidewalk next to the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Numerous inhabitants were seen leaving the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The eviction was expected to take a few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div contenteditable=\"false\"
