The Vodacom shop at Zevenwacht Mall fell
\nvictim to armed robbers this morning. (Thursday
\n16 November).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kuils River police spokesperson, Captain Isaac van Niekerk
\nsays that four men walked into the shop at about
\n09:40 and instructed the manager to give them cellphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere was one customer, the manager and two assistants inside the shop at the time. Two of the men
\nwere armed,\u201d he
\nsays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He says the men took cellphones and fled the scene in three vehicles of which one was a Mercedes-Benz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The value of the stolen cellphones has not yet been
\ndetermined by police, but according to a
\nTygerBurger source the shop was nearly emptied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Van Niekerk said that no one was injured but the customer
\nand staff were left traumatised and received counselling
