A self-publishing author from Delft says her book, A seed grown into a flower<\/i>, is for any young person on a journey of self discovery and for anyone who lives with no hope and who has forgotten or does not know their purpose in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ntobozuko Bota, who describes herself as 23-year-old financial accounting graduate, founder and CEO of The HOPE Foundation, a philanthropist, inspirational speaker and an award-winning peer educator, says this book is written about different seeds that collectively made her hate herself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEvery chapter in the book describes a seed that has grown into a flower (my thoughts into chapters) \u2013 thoughts that resulted in paragraphs on each chapter, including the good, the bad and the ugly \u2013 everything that led me to being the pretty, unique flower that I am today. The chapters give insight into who I am and why I am this way. Readers may see themselves through my eyes and recognise those parts deep down that have moulded them into who they are. The words and the book were empowered by everyone around me like family and friends \u2013 from childhood to today. The love and support I received on my journey of self-hate built this proud woman I am today \u2013 who is still a work in progress,\u201d says Bota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She says growing up she faced difficulties of loving herself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs a result I shied away from other people as I thought my body was not beautiful nor fits into the description of a beautiful, perfect body. The book is my journey to self love and self discovery. It is everything that I wrote in my notes and thus challenges and encourages everyone to turn their thoughts and writing into a beautiful thing. Finally she says the book is for anyone who needs hope, encouragement and courage to continue believing in themselves and working on their dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
