Projects include assisting disadvantaged youth, the elderly and disabled, as well as animal shelters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEach member pays an annual fee to belong to our global organisation and this looks after the administrative side,\u201d Houston said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monetary donations are also welcome, should someone decide not to volunteer, and become a member, Houston explained. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the club regularly hosts quiz evenings and other fund-raising events for the club, Houston told <em>TygerBurger<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Table View Lions Club started in August 1976 and serves Table View, Atlantis, Mamre, Dunoon, Parklands, Sunningdale, and Melkbos. The club meets every second Tuesday of the month at McPherson\u2019s Restaurant in Table View at 19:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For more information, contact Houston on 082 924 4084 or at eawilkie@gmail.com.
