A 48-year-old alleged chop shop operator was arrested by police during a sting operation by various police units last Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police had monitored the premises for suspicious activities over a period of time due to the hijacking of vehicles and trucks in the northern part of the Western Cape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFour vehicles that were reported stolen in different policing areas were recovered and seized as well as several car parts and work equipment,\u201d police spokesperson Ndakhe Gwala says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
