The TygerBurger<\/em><\/span> team got out of their routine to breathe some fresh air on Thursday (10 November) by doing their part to save the environment and rid the ocean of waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team joined forces with Save a Fishie for a beach clean-up and got their hands dirty at Lagoon Beach in Milnerton, collecting nearly 55 kg of litter with more than 50% of waste being microplastics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the items found were lollipop sticks, alcohol bottles, cigarette butts, dirty nappies, small pieces of broken glass and earbuds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
