A man who went to investigate a noise coming from outside his home in Vo\u00eblvlei<\/em>, Kuils River was met by three robbers in the early hours of Tuesday morning (24 January). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WO Liezel Beukes, spokesperson of Kuils River police, said the resident was awoken at around 03:00 and went outside to investigate the noise coming from where his vehicles were parked outside the house in Arum Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resident was overpowered by three men who pointed a gun at him and forced him back into the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beukes said the suspects took two cellphones, a television, a microwave and a DVD player from the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They fled the scene with both vehicles that were parked in front of the house \u2013 a red Volkswagen Polo Cross and a white Toyota Quantum with registration number NUZ7346. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Volkswagen Polo was recovered later the same morning (08:26) in Aerobat Street in Delft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No suspects were arrested yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
