By doing so, the foundation aims to foster their physical and mental well-being, promote gender equality, and unlock their full potential. Through this programme, the Alexandria Foundation hopes to create a platform that enables girls and women to excel in sports, regardless of any societal barriers they may face,\u201d says Joseph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-rolemodel\">A rolemodel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To spearhead this new initiative, the Alexandria Foundation has appointed Lucretia van Hooi as the ambassador. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLucretia, a remarkable woman herself, perfectly aligns with the objectives, mission, vision, and values of the Women in Sports Initiative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt the age of 26, she is not only a dedicated mother, a student, a wife and has a job, but she is also the captain of the local women\u2019s rugby team, Eerste River. Lucretia\u2019s involvement in the initiative holds special significance as she was also a teammate and friend of Raegan Jade. Her deep connection to the cause ensures that the memory of Raegan and her passion for rugby will be carried forward with great respect and admiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to have Lucretia as our ambassador for the Raegan Jade Women in Sports Initiative.
