Drugs worth R60 000 were seized in a car in the Bloubergstrand area last week \u2013 15 bags of crystal meth and 140 bags of cocaine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The instincts of two police officers paid off during crime prevention on 24 August when they observed a suspicious vehicle and decided to investigate further. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe occupant of the vehicle appeared nervous when he spotted the officers approaching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The male was searched, but nothing was found on him. The officers then searched the vehicle and found bags containing crystal meth and cocaine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspect then tried to bribe the officers. He was arrested and taken to Table View Police Station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTwo phones and cash were also found in his possession,\u201d Capt Adriana Chandler told TygerBurger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspect, aged 38 and from Table View, will appear in the Cape Town Magistrates\u2019 Court for dealing in drugs, once charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
