in<br>\nBrackenfell\u201d) in which allegations were made against City of Cape Town<br>\ncouncillors, Grant Twigg and Mariaan Nieuwoudt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/tygerburger\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/784a92be8e2c4fc5b60ce60955c4b421.jpg\" alt=\"Letter - \u201cDevelopers \u2018will get their way\u201d in Brack\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"embed image\" style=\"text-align:center;\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>TygerBurger<\/em> failed to give the City and the mentioned<br>\ncouncillors the opportunity to reply, prior to publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" Hill-Lewis<br>\n(\u201cStatements in letter were \u2018defamatory\u2019\u2009\u201c) was published in response on<br>\nWednesday 15 November, <em>TygerBurger<\/em> would also like to clarify the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Neither Nieuwoudt nor<br><br>     Twigg serves on the Municipal Planning Tribunal as stated by Pienaar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nieuwoudt however serves<br><br>     on the Planning Appeals Advisory Panel and Twigg has previously served on<br><br>     the same panel, according to the City of Cape Town website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>TygerBurger<\/em> apologises for the error.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TygerBurger failed to give the City of Cape Town and the mentioned
