Goodwood police are
\ninvestigating an attempted murder after a shooting incident at N1 City Mall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responding to a complaint on Wednesday 13 December, officers
\narrived at the local shopping complex about 10:30 to find an unknown man on
\nthe ground with multiple gunshot wounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Warrant Officer
\nJoseph Swartbooi the victim was transported to a nearby
\nhospital. \u201cThe unknown suspects fled the scene and have yet to be arrested,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reports suggest the victim
\nwas on his way to a financial institution to deposit cash. On his
\nway to the entrance three unknown armed men
\nreportedly jumped from a vehicle and fired numerous
\ngunshots at him, wounding him
\nseriously. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Swartbooi said the motive for the attack is now the subject of an
