They were handed to TLC Outreach Projects and TLC Street Ministry, marking the beginning of their winter drive to support the homeless community in the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This act of generosity promises to bring warmth and comfort to those most vulnerable during the cold winter months, highlighting the spirit of compassion and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis community-driven initiative showcased the power of unity and compassion,\u201d Colleen Petersen of TLC pointed out, \u201cfor runners of all ages and backgrounds came together to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said the outcome was overwhelming, with 100 blankets donated by participants very well received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe blankets were handed to TLC Outreach Projects and TLC Street Ministry to support their winter drive,\u201d Petersen said. \u201cThey will hand the blankets out to the homeless community in the area.
