A 34-year-old Brackenfell man was reported missing after failing to return home from an e-hailing journey from his workplace in Cape Town CBD yesterday evening, 14 April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Juan-Louw Greyling departed the city at approximately 17:45 when his girlfriend, Chantel Rossouw, arranged a trip for him through the e-hailing platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“His phone was on the blink and in for repairs, which is why I ordered the trip for him. The driver arrived in a white Volkswagen Polo hatchback, and I watched as they departed,” Rossouw told TygerBurger<\/em> this morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n When Rossouw herself returned home at 21:30, she discovered that Greyling had not arrived. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “Since he didn’t have his phone with him, I contacted app support and learnt that the trip had been cancelled after eleven minutes, with the driver having been unreachable since then,” she explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Greyling is of average build, 1.69 metres tall, with green eyes and dark brown hair. He bears a tattoo of a small star on his ankle. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white golf shirt, beige khaki shorts, and beige trainers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Anyone with information to assist police in their search can contact
