Western Cape residents have embraced the provincial government\u2019s free Wi-Fi initiative in a big way, using more than 2,714 terabytes of data worth over R135 million in just six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The impressive usage statistics, covering the period from April to September 2024, show that residents are averaging 452 terabytes of data consumption per month \u2014 equivalent to a value of R22,6 million monthly at commercial rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
