Residents in Kleinbosch are rooting for one of their own who have made it into the top finals of Miss South Africa 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ghee-Ann Rademan (23), a Kleinbosch resident her whole life, and former learner at Panorama Primary School will be among the country\u2019s most beautiful and elegant at this year’s competition, which is set to take place on Saturday 25 October at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TygerBurger<\/em> asked her about her her decision and motivation to enter the competition, how it feels to be in the top finals and what legacy she hope to leave behind if she were set to be crowned Miss SA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI entered Miss South Africa because I believe in the power of this platform to shape women and youth across our nation. The women who came before me on this platform have taught me to be a leader in our country, showing me how to serve with purpose and love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “As a mental health practitioner, I have worked with young girls in various communities across South Africa and I have seen firsthand how limited access to mental health education prevents so many from healing and reaching their full potential. My motivation comes from a belief in the power of the mind that when we strengthen it, we unlock potential, build resilience, and empower a generation ready to lead and transform South Africa,\u201d says Ghee-Ann on why she decided to take the bold step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The annual Miss SA event this year, is her first time on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI am so excited. As a student, I have done freelance modelling with local Cape Town brands, and I absolutely love supporting proudly South African businesses. I look forward to collaborating with many more amazing brands in the future.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ghee-Ann says being in the Top 9 of Miss South Africa is an incredible honor and a life-changing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis platform is truly a dream come true for me. From a young age, I knew I wanted to serve and build our country through empowerment and service. We all have a duty and responsibility to build our beloved South Africa,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She says as the next Miss SA, she wants to show that she is an everyday girl, just like so many others, proving that their dreams can truly become their reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI have a deep love for our land and its people, and it would be the honour of a lifetime to serve our country wholeheartedly. I also want to inspire young people and women to see what they can achieve when they strengthen their minds and believe that they were created for a time such as this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ghee-Ann was also asked about the legacy she wishes to leave behind if she was crowned Miss SA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe legacy I hope to leave is one of healing, empowerment, and possibility. I want young people to understand that they were born from this soil, in this land, for a time such as this, a time to rise, to lead, and to make a difference. To advance as a country, each of us must rise and play our part, in whatever role, career, or space we occupy, to help build a stronger, united, and thriving South Africa,\u201d Ghee-Ann says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The other finalists in the competition are Bridgette Jones (28) from Bridgetown, Athlone, Nelly Mashile (28) from Gauteng, Gizelle Venske (27) from Gauteng, Karabo Mareka (27) from Gauteng, Luyanda Nonhlelo Zuma (23) from KwaZulu-Natal, Nthabiseng Kgasi (30) from Gauteng, Qhawekazi Mazaleni (24) from the Eastern Cape, and Zanele Phakathi (27) from
