A three-month-old baby boy is fighting for his life in a Cape Town hospital after being shot in the head just before 08:00 this morning in what is alleged to be a gang hit in Bonteheuwel on the Cape Flats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi, two unidentified armed men entered premises and proceeded to one of the living rooms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“One of the men fired a gunshot in the direction of a woman with a baby, leaving the three-month-old boy with serious injuries. The child was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The unidentified suspects fled the scene and they are yet to be arrested. The motive for this attack is believed to be gang-related,” says Swartbooi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sergeant Samantha Adonis from the Bishop Lavis police says she was at the hospital and spoke to the
