Eight-year-old Hailey-Grace Louis<\/strong> from Victoria Park in Somerset West said she was very excited for the day of love because she could show her mother, her father and all her friends love by sharing chocolates, hugs and kisses with them. She does not think it is just a day for boyfriends and girlfriends.\u201cI don\u2019t think I will like Valentine\u2019s Day when I am older because it will mean I must kiss a boy,\u201d she said timidly.<\/p>\n

Driejarige Roscoe Maarman<\/strong> van Sir Lowry\u2019s Pass het meegedeel dat hy slaggereed was vir die dag en \u2019n paar geskenkies vir sy \u201cbokka\u201d gehad het. \u201cEk het vir haar \u2019n Ray-Ban-sonbril, tjips, \u2019n ice sucker <\/em>en drukkies gegee.\u201d Die kleinding het bygevoeg dat hy spesiaal sy Pok\u00e9mon-hempie vir Valentynsdag aangetrek het en al die meises by die kleuterskool met \u2019n drukkie bederf het. Sy tweelingsuster, Charn\u00e9<\/strong> het met trots ges\u00ea dat sy verstaan dat die spesiale dag oor liefde, drukkies en so\u00ebntjies gaan. \u201cEk het \u2019n paar liefies,\u201d het sy gespog. Volgens die kleuter is haar pa, Nathan, haar \u201cboyfriend\u201d, dan volg haar liefies, haar boetie Rosco en oudste broer Luke. \u201cMy boyfriend<\/em> het vir my \u2019n KFC chicken burger gekoop vir supper en ek het my rooi rokkie en hakkies aangetrek,\u201d het sy met die breedste glimlag ges\u00ea.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have 100 girlfriends!\u201d exclaimed four-year-old Landon Louis<\/strong> with all ten fingers raised. He bought all 100 girlfriends chocolates with all the money he had collected. \u201cI had one money (R1) for all my girlfriends and we all played rugby at school. It makes me very happy to be with them,\u201d he said wryly. <\/p>\n
