An 18-year-old suspect is facing a charge of attempted murder following a stabbing incident on Sunday (9 October).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to local police spokesperson Captain Marko Heydenrych the suspect was arrested after stabbing the victim with a sharp object in his face and left leg before running away from the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident occurred at approximately 15:20 in Essenhout Street, Kalbaskraal, Malmesbury following an argument between the suspect and victim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police followed-up on information on the whereabouts of the suspect and was arrested within hours of the incident and charged with attempted murder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
