Deesdae huisves Alphen besighede soos die Welz &amp; Co-veilinghuis, die vyfster Alphen Boetiekhotel en die hotel se restaurante &#8211; waarvan La Belle een is. Die feit dat hierdie groot en ou geboue omring word deur hedendaagse plase, maak dit die ideale ligging vir \u2019n Bistro soos La Belle: \u2019n landelike eetplek.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Dekor en gevoel<\/h4>\n<p>La Belle Bistro bied sitplek binne en buite. Die terras buite was leeg, maar dis omdat ons besoek aan La Belle op \u2019n snerpend koue Kaapse wintersaand plaasgevind het! Dit lyk egter vir my asof dit die ideale plek is om <em>ap\u00e9ritifs<\/em>\u00a0(waarvan daar heelwat op die spyskaart is) op \u2019n soel somersaand te drink. Hierdie aktiwiteit is juis op my lysie van goed om te doen sodra die kwik in die ho\u00ebr twintigs lees. Die bistro is binne knus en vriendelik &#8211; net soos \u2019n bistro moet lyk. Die mure in aardse kleure, die kaggel teen die muur en die ho\u00eb dak skep \u2019n gemaklike landelike gevoel.\u00a0Die algemene gevoel van die restaurant is gemaklik dog stylvol. Dis rustig, nie raserig nie, dis privaat en \u2019n mens voel asof jy heelaand daar kan kuier (en dis presies wat ek en my metgesel gedoen het). Jy hoef nie \u2019n aandrok of \u2019n strikdas te dra nie &#8211; iets netjies is voldoende.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-81096 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/rooirose\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/LaBelleAug17-28-500x334.jpg\" alt=\"LaBelleAug17-28\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Die diens<\/h4>\n<p>Die diens is puik. Vinnig, vriendelik en bedagsaam. Ons kelner, Ashton, was ook \u2019n spyskaart-toergids, wat goeie insig gelewer het op die disse (en glo my, jy wil na sy raad luister). Die bestuurder en kelners is gaaf en akkomoderend en \u2019n mens kan sien dat dienslewering \u2019n fokuspunt is vir di\u00e9 restaurant.<\/p>\n<h4>Die spyskaart<\/h4>\n<p>Die spyskaart is onlangs aangepas en bied \u2019n verskeidenheid disse. Sjef Amber Deetlefs noem dat di\u00e9 nuwe spyskaart steeds die bekende gemakskosse bied, maar met \u2019n moderne kinkel en die varsste bestanddele. Die nuwe ontbyt-opsies sluit byvoorbeeld sampioen-<em>tartines<\/em> en ricotta-en-aspersie-omelette in. Middag- en aandete sluit happies in soos broccolislaai, gebakte halloumi en boerenkool<em>\u00a0<\/em>(<em>kale<\/em>)<em>,<\/em> en spinasie, feta en hummus. Hoofgeregte sluit in vis met \u2019n quinoa-korsie en tjips en salm en forel in \u2019n granaatglasuur. My hoofmaaltyd was die filet met porcini-botter (wat ek sal aanbeveel) en selfs die aartappelpuree was interessant. Die sjef het my vertel wat sy spesiale bestanddeel is, maar omdat ek iemand is wat nie sommer geheime verklap nie, moet jy maar self gaan proe &#8230; Daar is ook \u2019n indrukwekkende wynlys met wyne van die omgewing en \u2019n verskeidenheid ander drankies as wyn nie na jou smaak is nie.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-81098 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/rooirose\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/LaBelleAug17-237-401x600.jpg\" alt=\"LaBelleAug17-237\" width=\"352\" height=\"527\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La Belle Bistro &amp; Bakery is ideaal vir geleenthede waar jy gesellig wil verkeer saam met vriende, besigheid moet bespreek, of \u2019n spesiale geleentheid wil vier (al is die geleentheid net \u2019n lekker bord kos).
