Die skrywer, Robert Goldberg, is \u2019n vreemdeling. Sy broer, Dave, ook. <\/p>\n

Dis Sheryl oor wie ek wakker lê. Sy’s \u2019n suster, \u2019n virtuele een. Op my lysie van mense by wie ek nog eendag wil gaan kuier. Soos Oprah, Margaret Thatcher en ons eie Precious Makgosi Moloi. <\/p>\n

Sheryl bly in my kop. Op 45 amper so oud soos ek. Twee kinders, so oud soos myne. Sy’t \u2019n MBA van Harvard, het die binnekant van die Google-masjien gesien, is sedert 2008 Facebook se hoofbedryfsbeampte en het miljarde in die bank.
Dít beïndruk my nie. Ek leer ken haar tussen die blaaie van Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, een van die afgelope dekade se suksesvolste sakeboeke. Hier skryf sy (onder meer): <\/p>\n

“I want every little girl who’s told she’s bossy to be told instead she has leadership skills.”<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“Welkom by \u2019n nuwe klub,” skryf \u2019n blogger later. <\/p>\n

My hart krimp. Vir Sheryl. Vir vroue soos sy.
Wat my laat dink aan vroue soos ek, en jy. Vroue met soveel meer as sy. <\/p>\n
