Sit die spek op bruschetta of op \u2019n kaasbord.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 500g repiesspek, fyngekap<br \/>\n\u2022 1 ui, fyngekap<br \/>\n\u2022 4 knoffelhuisies, gekneus en fyn gekap<br \/>\n\u2022 125 ml sagte bruinsuiker<br \/>\n\u2022 125 ml aangemaakte sterk koffie<br \/>\n\u2022 60 ml esdoringstroop of heuning<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maak so:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1<\/strong> Braai die spek in \u2019n pan tot bros en gaar. Skep uit en hou eenkant. Hou die olie in die pan.<br \/>\n<strong>2<\/strong> Braai die ui en knoffel vir 5 min. in die spekolie.<br \/>\n<strong>3<\/strong> Voeg die spek, bruin- suiker, koffie en esdoringstroop by.<br \/>\n<strong>4<\/strong> Laat prut vir 20-25 min. of tot die konfyt blink en dik is.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-58854 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/rooirose\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/OCTTrend02RR-400x600.jpg\" alt=\"spek\" width=\"271\" height=\"407\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Spekburger<\/h4>\n<p>Wat het \u2019n burger nodig om dit n\u00f3g lekkerder te maak? Spek natuurlik. Maak jou gunsteling-frikkadelle, draai in repies spek toe en braai\u00a0 soos gewoonlik. Smul!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-58855 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/rooirose\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/OCTTrend03RR-400x600.jpg\" alt=\"spek\" width=\"271\" height=\"407\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Karamelspek<\/h4>\n<p>Ja, jy kan spek karamelliseer. Dit maak dit net n\u00f3g beter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Esdoringstroopspek<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Verhit die oond tot 200 \u00b0C. Pak 8 spekrepies op \u2019n bakplaat en verf elk met esdoringstroop. Bak vir 7 min. Draai die spek om en verf weer met esdoringstroop. Bak vir nog 7 min. tot krakerig.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sjerriekaramelspek<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Verhit die oond tot 200 \u00b0C. Marineer 8 spekrepies vir \u2019n uur in 125 ml sjerrie. Verhit 125 ml bruinsuiker en 45 ml sjerrie in \u2019n klein kastrol. Roer tot die suiker opgelos is. Kook vir 1 min. Pak die spekrepies op \u2019n bakplaat. Verf elk met die sjerriestroop. Bak vir 7 min. Draai die spek om en verf met nog sjerriestroop.
