Jy kan jou eie vrugbare grond maak soos op die foto onder. Let op die wortelontwikkeling in vergelyking met die grootte van my hande.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-45772 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/rooirose\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Groenteknol-400x600.jpg\" alt=\"Groenteknol rooi rose\" width=\"280\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Die sogenaamde lasagne-metode van beddings bou, is hier gebruik. Pak eenvoudig dun lagies karton, koerant, stokke, dro\u00eb blare en ander bruinmateriaal soos nog koerante en karton (beide gesnipper), die inhoud van jou bokasji-drom, groen materiaal soos vars tuinsnoeisels, onkruid sonder sade of bolletjies en klein hoeveelhede grassnysels bo-op mekaar. Herhaal \u2019n lagie bruin materiaal en \u2019n lagie groen materiaal totdat die totale hoogte sowat 25 cm is. Bedek met enige grond, wat ookal jy het. Die grond op die foto was voorheen so hard soos beton in die somer!<\/p>\n<p>Bedek met\u00a0twee lae koerante en plaas dro\u00eb gras bo-op as deklaag. Hou vas met \u2019n bietjie grond. Sorg deurgaans dat jou lae so plat soos \u2019n tafel is\u00a0sodat die water nie wegloop voordat dit nie eers deur die materiaal gegaan het nie. Gooi bietjies-bietjies water soos wat jy jou lagies pak sodat die materiaal goed kan komposteer. Plant direk in jou nuwe hoop wat sommer direk in jou planthouer kan wees. Gooi \u2019n klein handvol kompos in elke gaatjie waar jy jou saailinge plant. Die res van die hoop ondertoe sal mettertyd komposteer, die plante voed en blakend gesond hou as jy bokasji gebruik.<\/p>\n<p>Die temperatuur wat binne-in jou lasagne-bedding opbou, maak dit \u2019n ideale metode vir die kweek van groente in koeler tye. Dis inderwaarheid mos \u2019n natuurlik verhitte bedding. Verder sorg die goeie deurlugting van die grond dat die plante se wortelgroei soveel beter is en dit maak hulle\u00a0baie gehard in die somer. As jy jou deklaag onthou, sal hulle glad nie in dro\u00eb maande swaarkry nie omdat die grond baie langer klam sal bly.<\/p>\n<p>Jy kan ook jou eie komposhoop bou en dan hierdie kompos gebruik om jou grondkwaliteit te verbeter.
