Dit onderdruk die groei van bossies, verskaf voeding en dien ook as &#8216;n deklaag.<\/li>\n<li class=\"_text_1hgab_2\">Knip die dooie takke van struike af en snoei struike, rankplante en heinings wat klaar geblom het of laatsomer gaan blom. Snoei rypsensitiewe plante liefs teen die einde van die maand.<\/li>\n<li class=\"_text_1hgab_2\">Sny die grasperk kort, hark die ou dooie lote uit, druk gate met &#8216;n tuinvurk om lug, kos en water by die wortels uit te kry en voed dit met &#8216;n grasperkkunsmis.<\/li>\n<li class=\"_text_1hgab_2\">As jy nog nie jou rose gesnoei het nie, doen dit vroeg in Augustus, dien 3:1:5-bemesting toe, gee dit &#8216;n goeie deklaag en maak dit goed nat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"_text_1hgab_2\">Verdeel meerjariges soos agapante nou as jy dit nie in die herfs gedoen het nie.<\/li>\n<li class=\"_text_1hgab_2\">Plante het nou weer meer water nodig. &#8216;n Deklaag rondom plante is belangrik om vog te behou. Boombas, neutdoppe en perskepitte is goeie keuses. Voed winterblomme wat nog blom met &#8216;n vloeibare kunsmis, knip dooie blomme af en haal plantjies uit wat klaar geblom het.<\/li>\n<li class=\"_text_1hgab_2\">Teen die einde van die maand is bolle wat in die somer blom op die rakke. Plant dit dadelik vir &#8216;n somerkleurspel. Voed lentebolle wat klaar geblom het met &#8216;n organiese 3:1:5-kunsmis vir die volgende seisoen.
