Die laaste episode word more (19 Oktober om 18h00) uitgesaai.<\/p>\n<p>Di\u00e9 aankondiging is gister gedoen deur die SABC se tussentydse uitvoerende groephoof vir televisie, David Makubyane.<\/p>\n<p><em>Top Billing<\/em>, wat beskou word as een van die kanaal se vlagskip-programme, het vir byna drie dekades gesorg vir \u2018n kykie op die goeie dinge van die lewe, soos van Suid-Afrika se mooiste huise, asemrowende bestemmings w\u00eareldwyd en die glanslewe (en troues!) van plaaslike bekendes en internasionale supersterre.<\/p>\n<p>Makubyane het ges\u00ea dat die program van die begin af die maatstaf gestel het vir Suid-Afrikaanse leefstylprogramme. Hy het Tswelopele Productions bedank vir hulle toewyding aan \u2018n w\u00eareldklas-produksie, en het ook sy dank uitgespreek teenoor kykers en ander belanghebbendes vir hulle lojaliteit aan die program.<\/p>\n<p><em>Top Billing<\/em> \u2013 die breinkind van Patience Stevens en Basetsana Kumalo &#8211; was vir jare die portaal waardeur kykers van hul alledaagse lewens kon ontsnap na die glansryke w\u00eareld van vermaak, leefstyl, mode, reis, dekor en ontwerp.<\/p>\n<p>Dit was sedert Oktober 1992 op die lug, en die eerste episode \u2013 met Michelle Garforth en Neil McCarthy as aanbieders \u2013 is verfilm met een kamera in die SABC se Henley-ateljees. \u2018n Spesiale Kersfees-episode wat in \u2018n luukse huis verfilm is, was die draaipunt wat die toekoms van die reeks bepaal het, en sedertdien het dit ontwikkel tot \u2018n spogproduksie.<\/p>\n<p>Patience en Basetsana se gesamentlike reis het kort na die premi\u00e8re van die reeks begin. Nie net het hulle vriendinne geword nie, maar in 1995 ook die stigters van Tswelopele Productions, die vervaardigers van <em>Top Billing<\/em> die afgelope byna kwarteeu. Beide het die SABC bedank vir die geleentheid om die program te kon vervaardig, nuwe sterre te ontdek en talle werksgeleenthede te help skep terwyl dit boonop as vertoonvenster kon dien vir plaaslike talent.<\/p>\n<p>Verskeie bekendes se loopbane het behoorlik vlamgevat danksy <em>Top Billing. <\/em>Dink maar aan Dr. Michael Mol, Ursula Chikane, Jeannie D, Tumisho Masha, Lorna Maseko, Michelle Garforth, Janez Vermeiren en wyle Simba Mhere.
