The Sun-Set@Baxter outdoor garden concert with singer, songwriter and theatre music director Ntsika Fana Ngxanga, initially planned for Sunday 10 April, has been postponed to Sunday 24 April \u201cdue to unforeseen circumstances\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last week, The Baxter issued an apology to patrons for any inconvenience the cancellation may have caused, adding that tickets which have already been booked will automatically be active for the new date and that there was no need for patrons to reschedule. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ntsika will bring to a close the Sun-Set@Baxter outdoor concert series \u2013 launched in November last year \u2013 for the current season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ntsika is the founder of Nomadic Tribe Entertainment and a lead composer and member of the internationally acclaimed a capella group, The Soil. In March 2019, he released his long-awaited debut solo album, I Write What I Dream<\/span>, after he had been gifted songs through a series of visitations and dreams from his great, great grandfather. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of Ntsika\u2019s highlights since the release of the album include performing at the 2019 Presidential Inauguration, the Hugh Masekela Commemoration and headlining the 2019 Cape Town International Jazz Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Audiences are encouraged to bring along their picnic baskets and blankets. Only alcohol purchased from The Baxter\u2019s bar will be permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tickets for Sun-Set@Baxter with Ntsika are R195 throughout. Patrons can purchase picnic baskets with various options when purchasing tickets at an additional cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Doors open at 17:00 and the performance starts at 18:00. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Performances will be regulated by lockdown regulations at the time, with all Covid-19 protocols in place.
