We chose this school (so that learners can) avoid the outside gang recruitment plan,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div contenteditable=\"false\" data-embed24=\"Images\" data-pos=\"middle\" id=\"embed_4e7083af\">\n<div class=\"slide\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-smallsrc=\"https:\/\/cdn.24.co.za\/files\/Cms\/General\/d\/8371\/f1d4e3bd366c40ab93cdcd5bbaffe9e1.jpeg\" class=\"photographer\" style=\"display:none;\"><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative will be taken to other schools facing similar challenges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sgt Zandi Langa, police spokesperson, says they were happy to partner with the foundation to create crime prevention awareness with youth at risk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOther organisations can write an email and request that the social crime prevention unit come and do an awareness,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jacobs says: \u201cThe greatest challenge at our schools is the girls being the carriers of illegal stuff that the boys force them to carry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The foundation aims to reach out to vulnerable, at- risk youth with a soft-touch, approachable stance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf
