One person sustained injuries to his hands following a blaze at a double storey building on New Market Street in Woodstock earlier today (Tuesday). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started at a car repair workshop and quickly spread to other buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An employee at one of the affected buildings, Goodson Majoni, says: \u201cWe were working after that we see the fire. We saw smoke coming from the back of our building. The fire then spread to our workshop.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sylvano Kitenge says he injured his hands while trying to escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are busy working, and the fire came the back of the building from their spray room. They spray cars and do panel beating. We just saw flames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were all looking for a way to get out. I was in the mixing room. I injured my hands as I tried to break out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
