The case that has evolved to a murder trial surrounding German tourist Nick Frischke\u2019s (22) disappearance on the Hangberg trail between Hout Bay and Sandy Bay during February, reconvened in the Wynberg Regional Court on Tuesday 10 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The State added a murder charge against the five accused known as Igshaan Fisher, Jason Abrahams, Vanroy Petersen, Carlo Guenantin and Melvin Guenantin. They were initially arrested for robbery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson in the Western Cape Eric Ntabazalila, all accused were present in court last week. The case has been postponed for the consolidation of the dockets of cases against the accused, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPresently there are four cases spread across all of them. It\u2019s also postponed for the State to provide further particulars to the defence for the defence to consult with its clients,\u201d Ntabazalila told People\u2019s Post<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also postponed, he added, after consulting the suspects for the defence to determine whether there are any possible conflicts of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
