On Saturday 11 November, the <\/em>People\u2019s Post<\/a> and <\/em>City Vision<\/a> teams joined the community for the final Trash Bash event of the year where a total of 145,3 kg of litter was collected. A total of 221 people, including aquarium staff, joined in the activities.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Two Oceans Aquarium celebrated its 28th birthday on Monday 13 November with a Trash Bash at Muizenberg Beach, over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday 11 November, the People\u2019s Post<\/em> <\/span>and City Vision<\/em><\/span> teams joined the community for the final Trash Bash event of the year where a total of 145,3 kg of litter was collected. A total of 221 people, including aquarium staff, joined in the activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devon Bowen, marketing manager for the Two Oceans Aquarium, said the aquarium strives to continue making an impact in the tourism, conservation, and education industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Two Oceans Aquarium has established itself as a worthy counterpart within the international aquarium and tourism industries and continues to offer a fun and educational visit to those who enter its mesmerising underwater world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFurthermore, it has become a thought leader in marine conservation, education, and research.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clean-ups provide an opportunity to give back and create awareness about the impact of plastic pollution on our ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
