Safeline Child Abuse Treatment and Prevention Centre is hosting its 12th annual child protection week service at the Christ the Mediator Anglican Church, today (Thursday 6 June). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more than 30 years in service of children, Safeline director Rochelle Philander says the organisation actually started in Hanover Park in 1998, when a local saw the need for child abuse intervention and started counseling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service was attended by representatives of the local police, national prosecution authority, neighbourhood watch, senior clubs and other organisations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safeline offers individual counselling, group work and community engagements among others and focuses its work on children aged two to 18. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
