Cape Town police are investigating an inquest following the death of a 23-year-old University of Cape Town (UCT) student on Saturday 26 July. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police, the student was found in his room at an off-campus residence in Victoria Road, Salt River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Provincial police spokesperson, Capt FC van Wyk said: \u201cA post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elijah Moholola, spokesperson for the university, said they are supporting the family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe family has requested privacy during this difficult time. UCT will issue formal communication via the university\u2019s channels in due course, once all the relevant processes have unfolded,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
