The three-month-old baby who was shot in the head earlier today in Bonteheuwel on the Cape Flats in Cape Town has just passed away.
The boy was shot just before 08:00 this morning in what is alleged to be a gang hit, when two men entered the family’s home and shot at them.
He was rushed to a local hospital, and despite numerous attempts to save his life, he sadly passed away.
Sergeant Samantha Adonis, police spokesperson, confirmed the baby’s death.
