Bjorn Lotterie, Marcheline Andrea, Aviwe Hlakanyana, Enrique Lemayer, Thembalethu Zwele, Newtone Jantjies and Claire Daphne Smith are the cast of the latest production, presented free to schools.

The Bridgetown Theatre Company (BTC) will perform a new dramedy, We strive, free at any local school from the end of March.

Given current ill-discipline at schools, the company felt the need to conscientise learners about the importance of education. We strive is about a caring school principal who wants to create a safe school environment for teaching and learning, but he encounters resistance from teachers and learners. The play has a 40-minute run time performed at schools within a school period and in any space at a school during school hours.

The production stars performing arts-trained and multi-talented Claire Daphne Smith, Newtone Jantjies, Marceline Andrea, Aviwe Hlakanyana, Enrique Lameyer, Bjorn Lotterie and Thembalethu Zwele.

Besides performing in their dramedy, these talented performers are also sharing their talents and knowledge with schools.
