Willem Schmidt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She leaves behind her mother Sinneke and two brothers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div contenteditable=\"false\" data-embed24=\"YouTube\" data-pos=\"middle\" id=\"embed_be038826\"><iframe allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pDOea6KPncA\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>According to police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, neighbours of the 40-year-old woman heard her screaming and glass breaking in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news24.com\/news24\/community-newspaper\/pe-express\/richmond-hill-woman-dies-after-being-stabbed-in-an-alleged-house-robbery-20230809\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>early morning hours of 9 August<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey immediately responded and found her lying on the floor with stab wounds.&nbsp; She was rushed to hospital but succumbed to her injuries,\u201d said Janse van Rensburg.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident happened around 01:40am in Sherlock Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Janse van Rensburg it was later established that the suspect gained entrance to the property by breaking a side window. It is unclear what was taken during the attack and police are investigating a murder case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"article__body NewsArticle\">\n<p>Anyone who can assist or provide any information relating to the murder, is asked to contact SAPS Humewood D\/WO Chris Kleynhans on 082 650 7564 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the nearest police station.
