{"id":4682,"date":"2025-08-20T15:05:53","date_gmt":"2025-08-20T13:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/peexpress\/recipe-ediths-pork-goulash-20230930\/"},"modified":"2025-08-20T15:06:05","modified_gmt":"2025-08-20T13:06:05","slug":"recipe-ediths-pork-goulash-20230930","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/novanews.co.za\/peexpress\/recipe-ediths-pork-goulash-20230930\/","title":{"rendered":"Recipe: Delicious one-pan creamy pork casserole"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ingredients\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>700 g cubed pork<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>50 ml cake flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Freshly ground black pepper to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tsp paprika<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 onions (chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cloves garlic (crushed)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tbsp oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tbsp tomato puree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tin (410g) cream of mushroom soup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 ml dry white wine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>125 ml fresh cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-preparation\">Preparation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Put flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a plastic bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Add the pork and shake until well coated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Brown the meat in a pan in the oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: <\/strong>Add onion and garlic and saut\u00e9 until soft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Add tomato puree, mushroom soup and wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> Reduce heat and simmer covered for 45 minutes or until meat is tender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 7:<\/strong> Add cream just before serving.
