Photo: Supplied<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It is alleged that the officer was travelling back to her station after responding to the scene of an earlier accident when the crash occurred, and she was declared dead on impact.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Binqose noted that all occupants of the bus escaped unharmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The road remains closed to traffic as recovery and clean-up operations continue,&#8221; he said. &#8220;A case of culpable homicide has been opened at Jeffreys Bay SAPS for further investigation.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eastern Cape Department of Transport MEC, Xolile Nqatha, extended his condolences to her family. &#8220;This is a deeply painful loss for us as the Department of Transport, as we have lost a dedicated member in the line of duty.
