EASTERN CAPE<\/strong> – Police in Willowvale have launched a manhunt for suspects following the murder of a 66-year-old woman at her home in the Nkozweni locality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim, identified as Nomasomi Gela, was found with gunshot wounds to her upper body at her homestead in Dadamba Administrative Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to police spokesperson Captain Majola Nkohli, officers were called to the scene at around 11:30 on Monday, 13 April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn arrival, police found the body of the victim with gunshot wounds to the upper body. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear,\u201d said Nkohli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in the investigation or lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the public can contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Siviwe Sidziya, on 082 441 8301, or share information anonymously via Crime Stop on 08600 10111.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
