Don\u2019t stir, just let it melt, gently swirling the pan if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the sugar turns <strong>golden amber<\/strong>, add the butter carefully. It will bubble, that\u2019s normal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir until smooth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slowly pour in the cream while stirring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a pinch of salt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simmer on <strong>low heat<\/strong> until slightly thickened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove from heat and allow to cool completely (it thickens as it cools).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biscuit Base<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br>300g butter (softened)<br>15g caster sugar<br>350g flour<br>100g cornflour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cream butter and caster sugar until <strong>light and fluffy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add flour and cornflour.
