She said the group obstructed access by burning tyres and erecting barricades, which led to staff and students being unable to enter the campus for classes and reporting for duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Reports of intimidation directed at members of the University community have also been received,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge confirmed that the protest began at about 05:00.
