GQEBERHA <\/strong>– A 32-year-old was assaulted and gunned down in Gelvandale yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAPS Gelvandale confirmed that they are investigating a case of murder following a shooting incident that took place yesterday, 12 October in Gelvandale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a SAPS spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 02:20 yesterday, the deceased Chreswell Bruce (32) and four friends were driving a white Toyota when they stopped in Borchard Street, Gelvandale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“While at the address, a red Volkswagen Polo stopped and a passenger got out and pulled the deceased from the vehicle.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janse Van Rensburg added that when he was pulled out of the vehicle, he was assaulted and shot in the face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
