The search still continues to trace the suspect or suspects who are responsible for the rape and murder of 102-year-old-woman from the Bawa Location outside Butterworth that happened during the evening on July 2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to the Express, police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Siphokazi Mawisa said that the search is still continuing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reporting on the incident, Mawisa said that according to information, it is alleged that the woman (102) was sleeping in a separate room and when her house was burglared and a forced entry was noticed through the window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“On investigation on the morning of Thursday, July 3, her body was found with injuries on her upper body and died on the scene,” she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mawisa stated that police are investigating cases of Murder, rape and burglary residential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
