Readers have one day left to nominate Young Heroes in the Gqeberha community to stand a chance of winning cash prizes, while at the same time honouring the work they do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PE Express is running this campaign in celebration of Youth Day to recognise and reward young community heroes who are making a positive impact in their neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Young Heroes’ campaign aims to shine a spotlight on individuals aged 21 or younger who demonstrate exceptional commitment to improving their communities through volunteer work, innovative projects, mentorship, or other meaningful contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community members are encouraged to nominate deserving young heroes by:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sending an email to elizabeth.giliomee@novusmedia.co.za as well as peexpress@novusmedia.co.za with a description of the work that the young heroes are doing in the community as well as photos and\/or videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please include PE Young Heroes in the subject field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only nominees residing in Gqeberha will be eligible to enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prizes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative comes with attractive cash prizes to support these young changemakers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Prize: R3,000
Second Prize: R2,000
Third Prize: R1,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘We believe in investing in our youth and recognising their contributions to society. These prizes will hopefully help these young heroes expand their community initiatives,’ said PE Express regional editor, Zeldr\u00e9 Swanepoel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominations will be evaluated based on the impact of the nominee’s work, creativity, leadership skills, and dedication to serving others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nominees’ inspiring stories will be showcased on the PE Express Facebook page and the top three will be celebrated in the print edition of PE Express on the 18th of June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t miss this opportunity to nominate a young hero in your community. Nominations close on 6th June at 5pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
