Swartkops detectives are urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next-of-kin of a body found in the area yesterday, June 28.
The severely decomposed body of an unidentified male was discovered by a community member in the bushes next to Old Uitenhage Road in Coega at approximately 08:30 yesterday morning.
According to police reports, the deceased is believed to be in his forties and was clad in a green top, black shorts and a dark green tracksuit pants.
“He is of medium build and approximately 1,7m tall. An inquest docket was opened and under investigation,” the report read.
